For over 25 years, Intrax has been an official sponsor designated by the U.S. Department of State to administer the J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa program. During that time, we have successfully placed more than 300,000 participants from over 80 countries with companies throughout the United States.
Through a vast network of partnerships with host companies and universities within the U.S. and around the world, we continue to provide students, young adults and families with dynamic exchange opportunities that inspire personal growth, mutual respect and cultural understanding.

Meet Our Team
Geoff is President of Intrax Cultural Exchange and has an extensive background in management, marketing and entrepreneurship in growth oriented companies. Geoff graduated with honors from Dartmouth College. Geoff started his career in advertising at Saatchi and Saatchi in New York City. He managed global consumer brands for Procter and Gamble and General Mills. While at Wharton Business School, Geoff had his first international internship experience working for a joint venture between Sprint, France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom. Geoff was responsible for global branding and partner marketing for Siebel Systems and served most recently as Vice President of Marketing for iPhase Technologies (acquired by IBM). As Program Advisor, Jenna oversees student outreach, applications and admissions, and assists in university relations for Intrax Internships Abroad. Prior to working for Intrax, Jenna worked in several different professional internships in job functions including marketing, public relations, media law, journalism, non-profit management, and conference planning. During her undergraduate studies, Jenna lived in Spain, Chile, and Costa Rica, and also traveled extensively in Central and South America and Europe while interning and studying. As Director of Global Marketing, Jim manages sales and marketing for Intrax Internships Abroad and Lango- Foreign Languages for Kids. Jim launched his career interning with Opel (GM) in Germany and selling educational books for the Southwestern Company. Jim moved to the publishing/advertising world, becoming a partner at Athlon Sports Communications. Jim also spent a few years each with Michelin North America and Iconoculture, a startup consumer insights firm. Jim speaks German, Spanish, and some Bulgarian. Contact Jim at jkey@intraxinc.com
As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Kevin manages sales, marketing, public relations, business development and product development across all Intrax organizations. Prior to joining Intrax in 2003, Kevin served as Director of Marketing for SCORE! Education Inc., a Division of Kaplan Inc. and the Washington Post Company and worked in brand and marketing management at E&J Gallo Winery and Southern California Guide. As Business Development Manager, Paul oversees operational planning, university relations and host company outreach for Intrax Internships Abroad. Paul has created and led student programs in Cuba, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Spain. He also traveled extensively in Central America while interning and later working for a coral reef conservation program. As Marketing Manager, Rebecca oversees strategy and execution of print and web marketing campaigns for Intrax organizations and writes copy for Intrax Internships Abroad. Prior to joining Intrax, Rebecca worked in the retail and entertainment industries, managing CRM initiatives, including direct, email and loyalty programs for Limited Brands and the Walt Disney Company. Rebecca started her career interning at KCAL 9 News in Hollywood, CA; KREM 2 News in Spokane WA; ABC News in Chicago, IL; Euro RSCG and Draft Worldwide. Contact Rebecca at rchang@intraxinc.com
Shannon is Director of Marketing at Intrax where her responsibilities include developing marketing strategy and programs for Intrax Internships Abroad. Prior to joining Intrax, Shannon led sales, marketing and public relations teams at a variety of private and public technology companies, including the Hewlett-Packard Company, eBay and SignalDemand. She also co-founded a home furnishings import company and traveled extensively in India to source local artisan products. As Managing Director of Intrax Internships Abroad, Terry oversees strategy and operations for Intrax college and high school programs. Terry has lived abroad for many years and has worked in the travel industry for more than a decade. Before joining Intrax, Terry ran an ecotourism company in Peru and was European General Manager for Backroads in France. While at UC Berkeley, Terry interned for the World Affairs Council.
