Internship Description:
Asakusa View Hotel is one of 28 hotels of View Hotel Group founded in 1953. The hotel is located in the center of Tokyo’s famous Asakusa historical area. The hotel puts great value on its relationship with its guests who include both local people and international tourists.
Skill & Experience Required:
- Interest in hospitality and tourism
- Basic Japanese knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Basic PC skills, such as MS-Word/Excel
- Good team spirit and cheerful personality
Sample Projects:
The intern will be exposed to all aspect of hotel management. In order to learn guest services, the intern will support both the concierge desk and the bellboy team. As part of the operational functions of the hotel, the intern will work alongside Japanese interns to help with basic hotel duties, as well as restaurant and banquet support. The intern will have the opportunity to observe and propose new marketing and service ideas that would be appealing to an international visitor.
