
Online Marketing Intern
Previous experience and a sincere interest in working for a non-profit/NGO is key to working with a mission oriented organization like FJC. In addition, the ideal candidate will have some educational background in business communication and or marketing, competence with social networks, internet applications and research, and is comfortable with the Microsoft software suite.
In addition to learning more about the growing and quickly evolving industry of online marketing, specific projects include:
- Transforming social network followers into activists and donors.
- Smartphone fundraising application
- Investigation of possible web partnerships
- Web development for fundraising campaign mini-site
The intern will gain a working knowledge of a premium international NGO, and will have a direct impact on the success of the philanthropic mission of the Fundation. They will also gain insightful perspective into Spanish business and healthcare practices, and relevant work experience in on-line marketing.
The Fundacio Josep Carreras will benefit from the American market perspective and gain further insight into how technology can be harnessed to further their mission to find a cure for leukemia.
