Graphics Research Intern
Ink Publishing, the world’s largest publishers of in-flight magazines, is looking for highly organised individuals wanting to gain editorial experience.
Ink is looking for highly organised individuals wanting to gain picture desk experience. Ideally candidates will have a background in photography and a good technical understanding of the digital image.
Ink requires hardworking, enthusiastic individuals with great organisational skills and the confidence and ability to use their own initiative. Interns must be able to juggle a number of tasks at one time and work within a fast paced environment with extremely tight deadlines. Much of the picture research is conducted by telephone and often with people overseas so a confident telephone manner is vital. Most importantly though, the intern should be an instinctively creative person with a great eye for imagery.
Assisting Ink’s four picture editors, the intern will be carrying out online picture research, calling in images, liaising with PR companies and performing general administrative duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in picture editing to work for a truly international and varied publishing company.
Ink welcomes new talent and a fresh perspective on its publications.
