Internship Description:
Somnio Hostels is an innovative, new hostel in the heart of Barcelona. Run by two Americans, the hostel welcomes guests from all over the world. The summer intern will work closely with the hostel’s owners to improve the business’ current operations while positioning the Somnio brand for imminent expansion.
Skill & Experience Required:
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to relate positively and effectively with diverse people Conversational knowledge of additional languages is encouraged. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in web design (Adobe Dreamweaver). Candidates should have an overriding interest in business development and hospitality.
Sample Projects:
The intern will work at the hostel’s reception, dealing directly with international guests. S/he will be assigned strategic marketing and business development projects such as enhancement of website content, customer satisfaction analysis, search engine optimization, and competitive pricing studies.
