
Cross-Cultural and Leadership Research Intern
Global Trend Consulting (GTC) specializes in leadership and human resources research and consulting, working with top international and domestic clients like Nokia China, Schneider Electric, and Coca-Cola. The Consulting firm conducts research in leadership behavior assessment and organizational diagnostic tools. The team at GTC has in-depth experience working with both international and Chinese organizations, where they gained valuable cultural and business sensitivities of local and foreign managers and employees.
- High familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Can speak Chinese as a working language and communicate with Chinese colleagues well
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in human resources and leadership research a plus
- Knowledge of psychology a plus
- Research and write cross cultural studies on leadership competencies and behaviors
- Assist with the annual China Employee Engagement Survey
- Prepare and contribute to clients’ HR and leadership assessments, which may include individual optimism analysis
Interns will learn more about Chinese culture in the workplace, as well as a greater understanding of Chinese management and leadership behaviors. Additionally, the intern will have an excellent opportunity to improve his/her Mandarin language skills.
