Internship Description:
Danwei is a team of media veterans, writers, researchers and translators who produce the Danwei.org website. Danwei conducts media and Internet monitoring to allow companies to know what the Chinese media and Internet users are saying about their brand -- information that is particularly valuable in a regulated economy like China’s!
Skill & Experience Required:
A successful intern should:
- Strong research and writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Interest in Chinese internet and media
- Have some knowledge of Chinese language
Sample Projects:
The media intern at Danwei will help conduct research, surveys, and analysis of traditional and social media in China, which will help determine what is being said; who is saying it; why it matters; and what to ignore, all important things to note considering China's current social and political climate.
