Internship Description:
Global Cool is a charity that runs campaigns to promote green lifestyles to mainstream consumers. Our organizing principle is that we don't assume that people are interested in carbon, climate or the environment. Instead, we 'sell' green lifestyles, and just like commercial marketing, we do that by making the lifestyle attractive to our audience - showing how they can be fun, involve adventure, save money and make you fabulous and attractive. We leverage people's interest in glamour, fashion, music, entertainment and celebrity to reach and influence them.
Skill & Experience Required:
Global Cool takes great pride in the quality of our interns. They all have very strong academic records from a variety of backgrounds (our team thrives on diversity!), are passionate about the environment and sustainability and aren’t afraid of hard work. Importantly, everyone on the Global Cool team has a great sense of humor – those who aren’t up for a good time need not apply.
Sample Projects:
Interns are a vital part of Global Cool, and work on a combination of desk-based research, copy-writing/editing, support for writing partnership proposals, and support for senior members of the team with day-to-day administration.
