
Marketing Intern
Goojet is a French start up founded in 2007 by a team of experienced entrepreneurs. Goojet's mobile platform allows hundred of thousands of French users to share relevant "thematic" information with specific social networks. The company has already received several awards for its innovative mobile/social media platform.
The intern should possess a basic skill set for communication and marketing. S/he should be rigorous, curious and eager to learn. The marketing team is small and relies on each person to show initiative and work independently. Knowledge of the Web, interest in start ups, comfort with MS Office and familiarity with blogging tools are a plus.
1. Content and Community Management: Organize and find content (videos, links RSS feeds) for Goojet's popular thematic topics (fun, sports, high tech, news, etc). Improve community sharing by designing newsletters, blogs, etc.
2. E-Marketing: Test and manage mobile and campaigns for new US market. Open new user recruitment channels. Report and analyze existing campaigns.
This intern will receive a highly focused marketing internship for an established startup of 18 people and will learn about expanding a successful local product overseas. S/he will be based in the Paris headquarters, next to Place de la Corcorde, but will also have the chance to work with the product team in Toulouse.
Goojet is expanding into the US and needs a strong intern to help launch its iPhone apps and work in partnership with its Community Manager to increase awareness abroad.
