
Web Developer Intern
Harvard Business Publishing was founded in 1994 as a not-for-profit, wholly owned subsidiary of Harvard University. The company is comprised of three market groups: Higher Education, Corporate Learning, and Harvard Business Review Group. Through these publishing platforms, Harvard Business Publishing is able to influence real-world change by maximizing the reach and impact of its essential offering — ideas.
- Reporting to the Director of Technology
- Create and manage user interfaces for mobile and web systems
- Required experience working with CSS and Javascript (jQuery)
- Preferred previous commercial software development
- Use and/or understanding of content management systems
- Familiarity with user-centered design, usability testing and best practices
- Code and manage the HBR user interface across all platforms
- Work closely with system developers to create the most optimized delivery system across platforms
- Be able to work well within a team, working across platforms
Interns will have an excellent opportunity to work with Harvard Business Review in China, working in mobile and SNS (Social Networking Services), cooperating with local Chinese developers.
The IT team of HBR China in Shanghai is eager to work with creative, international interns, especially those with experience in UI and UX.
