
Financial Analyst
Morningstar offers a range of financial information to investors on portfolio planning, mutual funds, and stocks. Its publications feature reports on some 1,600 mutual funds Its software includes Morningstar Advisor Workstation, a Web-based investment planning system for financial advisors, and Morningstar Direct for institutional researchers.
Intern should be interested in global financial markets and have comfort level with data management, research, and financial analysis. IT skills are beneficial and excellent programming opportunties also exist for qualified interns.
An additional financial analyst position is available for interns with Hebrew language skills. This intern will work specifically with markets in Israel.
Data department projects include running queries on European mutual fund market, researching financial regulations, and analyzing prospectuses. Intern will assist the Operations team with data collection, maintaining data quality, and searching for opportunities to enhance data. Intern will identify new funds, verify data accuracy by analyzing statistics, and will make sure data is complete.
- Work for an internationally recognized financial firm in a highly international, small group environment.

The company has a small team of 17 and would like to add a few interns this summer. Data entry and analysis is a key success driver for Morningstar and this type of project is well suited for interns.
