Internship Description:
Sodimac SA is a prestigious firm and leading retailer for the home improvement Business in Latina America . Established in 1954 as a distribution center for the Chilean government, it became a private company in 1981.
Sodimac has led the South American home improvement market with operations in four countries: Chile , Colombia, Peru and Argentina, with more than 110 stores. This internship is in operations and marketing with an emphasis in planning and quantitative skills.
Skill & Experience Required:
Sodimac is a professional retailer firm that seeks a self-directed and committed intern to work on its projects. The ideal intern would possess sharp analytical and quantitative skills, as well as an interest in global sourcing. This person has to be able to work well in a team setting and maintain a strong work ethic.
Previous experience and good grades in coursework in marketing, planning , finance, and/or economics is necessary for higher level projects.
Sample Projects:
Depending on their interest and ability, interns may work in global souring area or in import analysis projects.
