Internship Description:
Planet Positive provides an internationally recognized mark of certification to businesses, buildings, products and services with a commitment to reduce their carbon footprint year over year. While larger firms have developed their own carbon reduction strategies, Planet Positive aims to make sustainable business practices accessible and affordable for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
Skill & Experience Required:
Interns at Planet Positive should have a passion for sustainable businesses and engaging people in reducing their carbon emissions. Interns should also have a knowledge of current sustainability and environmental issues, as well as strong interpersonal and writing skills.
Sample Projects:
Interns will help with Planet Positive’s marketing and public relations, writing targeted emails and newsletter. S/he will write press releases and case studies, conveying the Planet Positive story to a broader general audience. Other projects may include expanding Planet Positive’s social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as managing website content using CMS software.
