Internship Description:
Steely Eye Digital Media is a young, but leading mobile software development company. Based in the heart of Soho, Steely Eye delivers mobile system software and application development, and mobile web services to a range of clients including digital agencies on behalf of big brands, mobile operators, handset manufacturers and other direct clients.
Steely Eye Digital Media takes on all parts of the mobile software development process from identifying and quantifying the mobile opportunity considered, through design and feasibility, development, testing, porting, release and maintenance.
Built around a highly experienced and close-knit team, Steely Eye believes in employing creative and hard working individuals and allow them to express themselves in the work they do.
Skill & Experience Required:
- Undergraduate student (ideally of Business, Marketing, Media or English related degree studies)
- An excellent & passionate communicator with a good understanding of both offline and online marketing
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
- Self motivated, assertive and confident
- A good and professional telephone manner
- A creative mind mixed with a can-do attitude
- A drive and passion to learn how the digital media (mobile) industry works
Sample Projects:
- Assist with maintenance and development of the digital presence of Steely Eye Digital Media, including the website, our social media channels and other digital products, planning improvements and updates and incorporating new media advances.
- Assist with managing The Steely Eye Digital Media social media channels, including Twitter and Facebook.
- Assist with managing online content, e.g., writing and updating blog pages, social media networking activity
- Assist with managing the search performance & SEO aspects of our website
- Regularly revise existing material and produce new copy and features
- Produce monthly statistical analysis of our web presence, sales & promotions
- Assist in the development of digital campaigns including targeted e-mail marketing campaigns
- Assist with performing market research and develop new marketing strategies
- Maintaining good relationships with company clients both existing & new
