Internship Description:
International Channel Shanghai (ICS) is the only TV channel in China that broadcasts in both English and Japanese (with Chinese subtitles). ICS strives to be Shanghai's key information and service provider for the city's international community. ICS is available in 5 million cable TV households throughout Shanghai and reaches an even wider audience through its livestreaming programming at www.ICShanghai.com.
Programming includes news and information, fashion and entertainment, language learning, talk shows, and English language movies.
Skill & Experience Required:
- Self-motivated and willing to dive right in to new tasks and experiences!
- Passionate about media and television
- Preferred experience in journalism or broadcasting
- Strong English writing skills
Sample Projects:
- Assist writers, and write stories for assigned programs
- Research potential news stories
- Discuss and help select new stories and program topics
- Potential to do voiceovers for assigned writing pieces
