Internship Description:
Large Blue is an award-winning digital agency based in Covent Garden, working across digital and video production. The video team has worked on corporate, advertising, and documentary projects, and has won awards for their online channel green.tv which showcases the best environemental videos from across the web. The digital team works on a variety of projects from websites to iPhone apps to touchscreen displays.
Skill & Experience Required:
Candidates must have a communications or media background. The intern needs to have existing skills in either video production or digital media - ideally both, as much of the work is interdisciplinary. Relevent skills include knowledge of Final Cut Pro, the ability to assist on shoots as a camera assistant/runner, knowledge of social media, and experience in design or web development. Ideal interns should be confident and proactive with a desire to learn. They should possess strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Sample Projects:
- New Business Development: This includes researching and identifying new clients and competitors across the industry.
- Production Coordination: Providing support to the Producers and Production Manager on a variety of multimedia projects including research and logistics.
- Adminstrative Support: Support to Office Manager in organizational tasks around the office and hospitality.
